!!!Dorsett Atari Philosophy PY ; Copyright (C) 1983 Dorsett Educational Systems, Inc. !!Source from archive.org * [Dorsett Atari Philosophy PY|https://archive.org/details/DorsettAtariPhilosophy] \\ This is an archive of the "Philosophy" educational program published by Dorsett Educational Systems, Inc. in 1983. This was originally packaged as a set of 8 cassette tapes for use with Atari 400 and 800 computers.\\ \\ The "raw recordings" directory contains the unaltered recordings from cassette, one file per tape, with both sides of each tape in the same file. You probably don't want to use this folder.\\ \\ The main files (py1 through py16) are likely the versions you want to use with your Atari or emulator. These have been split into 16 files (one per tape side). The audio levels have had their volume normalized, as well as any pops and clicks removed, and subsequently repaired on the data tracks. Each tape has been verified to work on the Altirra emulator.\\ \\ Finally, photos of the cassette tapes are included.\\ \\ The work of digitization and audio cleanup was done by Kay Savetz and Thomas Cherryhomes in May/June 2015.\\ \\ Album: Philosophy (Py)\\ Year: 1983\\ Original Format: Atari Educational System (Dorsett Talk & Teach)\\ Digital Format: Microsoft WAV, 2 channel, 16-bit 44100Hz sample rate\\ Digitized by: Kay Savetz/Thomas Cherryhomes\\ \\ Tracks:\\ \\ Py1 What is philosophy?\\ Py2 Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle\\ Py3 Religious and Renaissance philosophy\\ Py4 The modern philosophers\\ Py5 Political philosophy\\ Py6 More political philosophy\\ Py7 Epistemology\\ Py8 Economic philosophy\\ Py9 Logic\\ Py10 Philosophy of science\\ Py11 Metaphysics\\ Py12 Classical ethics\\ Py13 Modern ethics\\ Py14 Philosophy of religion\\ Py15 Contemporary philosophy\\ Py16 Industrial and applied philosophy\\ \\ Tracks (size in sum: 1.84 GB):\\ \\ * [py1|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py1.flac] * [py2|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py2.flac] * [py3|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py3.flac] * [py4|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py4.flac] * [py5|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py5.flac] * [py6|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py6.flac] * [py7|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py7.flac] * [py8|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py8.flac] * [py9|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py9.flac] * [py10|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py10.flac] * [py11|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py11.flac] * [py12|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py12.flac] * [py13|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py13.flac] * [py14|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py14.flac] * [py15|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py15.flac] * [py16|http://data.atariwiki.org/FLAC/Philosophy/py16.flac] !!Images [{Image src='pyA_.jpg' width=612 height=816 }] Dorsett Atari Philosophy - cassettes with uneven numbers\\ \\ [{Image src='pyB_.jpg' width=612 height=816 }] Dorsett Atari Philosophy - cassettes with even numbers
