!Background
Hypra-Soft-Basic, by Uwe Röder, is a version of [Basic|BASIC] for the Atari that has an unlimited-accuracy math library. This replaces the original [Atari BASIC] functions that use 6-byte BCD numbers that lose accuracy in many operations. There are three versions of the system, disk-based, ROM based (although it requires a special cartridge), and the "Fandal" version (unknown translation).
The system is known to work with DOS 2.5 and Turbo-DOS XE, although it should work with other DOSes as well.
