The official suffix for OSS MAC/65 is: 'M65'
The official suffix for OSS Basic XL is: 'BXL'
The official suffix for OSS Basic XE is: 'BXE'
The official suffix for Turbo-Basic XL is: 'TUR'

.ACT An ACTION! source program
.ARC A compressed archive of one or more files
.ASM An ASCII machine language source file
.BAS A BASIC SAVEd program
.BAT A (Sparta)DOS batch file
.BXL A BASIC XL SAVEd program
.BXE A BASIC XE SAVEd program
.COM A (Sparta)DOS external command or binary program
.DAT A data file
.DOS A disk-based version SD
.EXE A file or program being executable
.LST A LISTed BASIC program
.M65 A MAC/65 SAVEd machine language source file
.OBJ A binary object code file
.PRN A listing to be printed
.SYS A (Sparta)DOS system file or driver
.TUR A TURBO-BASIC SAVEd program

.APC "APAC" image. (80x96x256 noncompressed).
.AP2 "APAC-2" image. (80x192x256 noncompressed).
.AR? (AR0 through AR9) An "autorun" file loaded by MyDOS during boot, renamed from "EXE", "COM" or "OBJ."
.ARC "ARC" archive. A set of files compressed into one file. Typcial Atari 8-bit compression format.

.LST An Atari BASIC source file. "ENTER" from within BASIC.

.NLQ Daisy Dot III "Near Letter Quality" font file.

.PIC A An image file. Usually "Koala" style (160x192x4 compressed).
