PAC-MAN Source Code #

Sometimes wonders just happen, this can't be more true, than for the source code of PAC-MAN. After a long, long time, this miracle just happend, please see below for more details.

Source Code#

  • PAC-MAN_Source_Code.zip(info) ; this is the original source code for the complete Atari 8-bit PAC-MAN game with all sequences. Please visit the Makefile.bat(info) file for further details on how to compile your desired version. The original source code was written with the Atari Macro Assembler. We have adapted the source to work with the WUDSN IDE with MADS.

XEX files ; compiled from the source codes#

  • PACMAN-ORIGINAL.xex(info) ; origial version of PAC-MAN compiled from the original source code
  • PACMAN-ORIGINAL-INTERMISSION-DEMO.xex(info) ; same as above, but eating one dot ends the level, so the user can see quickly the intermission sequences without doing the hard work, in case there may be less time. ;-) Thank you so much JAC! from AtariAge for making such a pleasure for us. We are deep in your debt. :-) Please go ahead
  • PACMAN-ROKLAN-stripped.xex(info) ; version from ROKLAN Corp. made for Atari, Inc.
  • PACMAN-ATARI82.xex(info) ; Atari version of PAC-MAN from 1982, made for a cartridge without the bonus scenes
  • PACMAN.xex(info) ; PAC-MAN version
